Special Applications: Drum Handling for food and juice industries

Innovation in Action:

Stainless Steel Drum Dumping Tower

Designed to empty 30 to 60 gallon steel, fiber and plastic drums, this stainless steel, food-grade device is operated by a chain drive system. It can cycle every 60 seconds to empty 60 drums per hour.

The Drum Dumper is typically used to supply products to hoppers or food choppers. It has a capacity of 1,000 lbs. Larger units with heavier capacities are available.

This automatic, drum dumping system, receives a full drum of frozen concentrate and raises it up to 12 feet then tilts it 120 degrees to dump the contents into a vat. The empty drum is lowered and conveyed away. An air opeated diverter transfers it to an accumulation lane.

Specialty Equipment builds innovative drum and pail handling systems that are intended to last generations.
